About us
Welcome to Messy Minds Society – a cozy corner of the world where emotion meets illustration.
We believe that feelings deserve to be seen, understood, and maybe even worn proudly on your sleeve—literally. Our designs feature hand-drawn, imperfect little characters that speak to the real stuff: anxiety, burnout, joy, neurodivergence, and everything in between. Each creature has a story, just like you.
Born from a love of doodles, mental health conversations, and quiet cups of coffee at the kitchen table, this shop is more than just t-shirts. It’s a gentle celebration of being human, in all your brilliant, beautiful messiness.
Whether you’re here for a comforting gift, a self-soothing sketch, or a shirt that says “me too” without words—we’re so glad you found us.
Our characters
We believe that feelings are easier to handle when they have a face. Each of our characters represents a different mental health experience — from anxiety to burnout — brought to life with softness, honesty, and a little bit of humor. They're not here to fix you. They're here to sit with you.
Meet the crew — because sometimes, seeing your struggles in a scruffy little animal makes it all feel a bit less heavy.

ADHD
Zippy The Raccoon
Zippy is energetic, scattered, and full of big feelings. Always jumping from one idea to the next, often with a million tabs open in his mind. He’s creative, passionate, and craves connection — but focus? That’s another story.

Anxiety
Nixie the Axolotl
Nixie is always a little on edge, constantly asking “what if?” She’s sweet, cautious, and always alert — even when there’s nothing to worry about. Nervous by nature, but deeply empathetic.

Depression
Wooly the Bear
Wooly moves slow, often heavy with sadness, and struggles just to get out of bed. He may not say much, but he’s quietly strong. Just showing up is his act of courage.

Autism
Fern the Hedgehog
Fern is quiet, thoughtful, and finds comfort in routines. She loves her niche interests (collecting flowes) and gets overwhelmed easily, but thrives in spaces that feel safe, soft, and predictable.

Burnout
Haze the Sloth
Haze has pushed too hard for too long and is now running on empty. Always tired, emotionally numb, and craving rest. He's a reminder that slowing down isn’t a weakness — it’s survival.
